  • We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills who can work collaboratively but also voice their own expertise, experience and insights to inform thinking and shape our progress.
  • Ability to commit to your role as a Trustee and an understanding of the vision and mission of the organisation.
  • To be up to date about our work, act as Ambassadors and share networks and contacts to further enable the work and outreach of Enthum Foundation.
  • Prior experience of governance is desirable but not essential.

Trustees are the financial and governance guardians of our organisation. They ensure the charity fulfills its mission, is run effectively and efficiently, complying with its governing document and Charity Commission obligations and meeting its financial requirements.

 

What’s in it for the volunteer?

  • Ability to commit to attend quarterly Trustee meetings in Lewes, East Sussex.
  • Ability to give enough time and energy to the role to actively advise and support directors and staff when called upon at times.
  • To ensure Enthum Foundation is carrying out its purposes for public benefit.
  • To ensure Enthum Foundation is accountable and transparent and in compliance with the organisation’s governing document.
  • To ensure that resources are being managed responsibly and that annual financial reporting requirements are being met
