Lawyer and Beyond with Matthew Rhodes

Lawyer and Beyond with Matthew Rhodes

After reading Archaeology and Anthropology, Matthew started his legal career as a litigator at Ashurst, leaving in 2000 to found RollOnFriday. He has also spent 6 years as a trustee of Prisoners Abroad and is a visiting lecturer at BPP Law School. Matthew was appointed an OBE in the 2011 New Year’s List for services to legal pro bono, and we’re delighted to report, is one of the founder Directors of BCKR. Matthew will share with members his experience of leaving practice to found RoF.  And more usefully, perhaps, his insights into the legal profession today and how it helps its senior lawyers to develop and move on from the profession.  What are other firms and legal departments doing to help senior lawyers?
