Magpie Dance is the UK’s leading dance charity for people with learning disabilities. They deliver regular dance classes, training and workshops each year and celebrate their work through live and digital public engagement events, benefitting 1,200 participants every year. They are immensely proud that their small operation based in Bromley achieves so much for their community in London, the Southeast, and beyond, leveraging over 35 years of experience and expertise to enable people with learning disabilities to reach their full personal, social and artistic potential through dance.
Magpie Dance is looking to appoint up to four individuals to join its Board of Trustees. The Board is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction of the organisation, working to ensure that Magpie Dance is well equipped to enhance the lives of the communities they serve. Their Trustees also act as ambassadors for Magpie Dance, actively promoting work and leveraging opportunities to advance its mission.
If you would like to play a key role in shaping the exciting future of Magpie Dance and contribute to making positive impact on the lives of people with learning disabilities, they would love to hear from you.
