Eastside Community Heritage in London seeks new Chair
Eastside Community Heritage is seeking to recruit a Chair to join our dynamic board of Trustees.
Over the past 24 years Eastside has worked on numerous projects recording, documenting and preserving the lives of Londoners. In 1999 we established an oral history archive which now holds over 4000 unique recordings. We are going through an exciting time of change within the organisation and are about to embark on Archive accreditation.
We are looking to recruit a Chair to lead this exciting process and build on our excellent community engagement and heritage work. While it is important that you have some understanding of, or commitment to the heritage sector, we are keen to have a wide range of varied lived experience.
We are particularly looking for people who understand what is involved in running a voluntary organisation or in corporate strategy operations. We also have other trustee positions.
