The BCKR Dry One Waterproof Coat is our flagship product, designed with the best materials available and loaded with fan-friendly features. Here are six of the thoughtful — and subtle — details that will help you get the most out of your new jacket.

1. The two-way zipper

The center front zipper is a two-way YKK Aquaguard zipper. Why is this useful? Have you ever sat down in a long jacket and had it puff out in the front? With a two-way zipper, you can move both sliders up the track from the bottom and adjust the jacket so it rests perfectly while you’re seated. One note on two-way zippers: to zip the jacket up from the bottom, both of the sliders need to be all the way at the bottom of the zipper, or it can be hard to get it started. It may take a little practice.

2. It packs into its own hood

Did you wonder why the cord on the back of the hook has a little hook on it? That’s our compact storage solution. Lay the coat flat on a table, facing up. Fold in the arms and sides to the width of the hood. Starting at the bottom roll the jacket up until you get to the hood, then tuck the jacket body into the hood. Lastly, take that elastic cord with the hook and wrap it around the body and hook it on the little loop. It’s a perfect little jacket roll, ready to be carried or thrown into a pack.

3. The hand warmer pouches

There’s a small pouch inside each of the front hand pockets that holds hand warmers or small device chargers. We don’t like having loose things in our pockets, so this is our way to deliver warming power to the jacket without a lot of pocket clutter. For our recommendations on our favorite hand warmers, please see our reviews.

4. The keychain clip and lens cleaning cloth are removable

The built-in lens cleaning cloth and keychain clip are two of the fan-specific features of the Dry One. Losing your keys in a giant stadium is the worst, only slightly ahead of having smudged glasses when you’re trying to watch the game. To make both of these features even more useful, we added small little buckles so you can clip and unclip each. This will let you hand your cleaning cloth or keys to your buddy then secure them safely back in place.

5. The hood adjusts in three places

The hood on the Dry One may seem pretty large at first, and that’s by design. To tailor the fit to the exact size of your head, pompador, or headwear, you can make adjustments in three different places. There are two adjustment points on either side of the collar, with small pull cords you can tighten to cinch the hood. The releases for these cords are just up the seam from the pulls. The third adjustment point is on the back of the hood, with the little storage hook on it. That rear adjustment pull will help keep the hood out of your eyes so you can stay focused on the action.

6. The secret Bluetooth tag pouch

Have you ever tried to meet up with a friend in a sold-out stadium, ten minutes before kickoff? Us too. That’s why we added a discreet little Bluetooth tracker pouch on the rear inner seam. Pop your tag of choice in there and share your location with your friend and you’ll be able to meet up with plenty of time left to get to your seat for the hype reel.
